Medical Assurance Society manages membership administration and marketing services for New Zealand medical members of the Medical Protection Society (MPS).
MPS is a not-for profit mutual organisation, owned entirely by the members, whose sole purpose is to provide professional support to doctors who experience medico-legal difficulties.
With an international presence, MPS has more than 235,000 members in over 40 countries - in New Zealand there are over 12,000 members across the healthcare professions.
MPS has protected, supported and defended the professional reputation of doctors and other healthcare professionals in New Zealand for over half a century.
