We know your time is valuable. That’s why most claims can be made quickly and easily over the phone.

Comprehensive cover for your prized possession

• We’ll cover you anywhere in New Zealand and up to 50km offshore, including cover for yachts while racing. We’ll consider requests for extended coverage on a case-by-case basis.
• We’ll cover your boat and the items on it¹, as well as locks and keys and fire fighting equipment.
• We’ll also cover equipment temporarily removed from your boat for storage, maintenance or repair.
• If you buy a new boat we’ll automatically insure it under your existing policy for 14 days.

Expenses and legal liability cover

• If your boat is stolen or damaged, we’ll pay up to 25 per cent of its sum insured to safeguard or salvage it, return the boat it if it’s stolen or remove the wreck.
• If you negligently cause damage to someone else’s property, we’ll cover you for legal claims made against you.
