Vehicle insurance
We can insure your car, motorbike, van or ute in case it’s stolen or damaged in an accident. And if you negligently cause damage to someone else’s property, we can cover you for legal claims made against you. If you buy a new car, we’ll automatically insure it under your existing insurance policy for 14 days, so you have time to update your insurance.

Contents insurance
You’re covered for just about everything you own – including furniture, clothes, stereos and playstations. You’re also covered for:

• Personal items you carry with you in New Zealand, Australia and anywhere in the South Pacific (up to $2,000 per item), and
• Damage or loss you negligently cause to someone else’s property in New Zealand.

If you have portable items over $2,000 you'll need to specify them, along with bicycles over $1,000 - and any contact lenses, windsurfers, surfboards and snowboards.
