Joining MAS
To join Medical Assurance Society (MAS) you must apply for membership and take out an insurance policy or loan with us. Fill in this form to tell us you’re interested and someone will get in touch with you soon.
Free personal and professional financial reviews
Membership of MAS includes free regular financial reviews – at a time and place that suits you. Because our advisors are salaried rather than commissioned you know they have your best interests in mind.
Part of a professional community
Members are regularly invited to networking activities such as seminars, conferences, golf, tennis, fishing and family outings. You’ll also have access to member-only opportunities such as discounts on certain new vehicles. You’ll receive our quarterly magazine, Hi Society, as well as regular updates about changes to our products or finance-related news that we think you might want to know about. You might see as at your national conferences – if you do, take the opportunity to come and talk to us or introduce others.
Business advice
For Members who are in business, on hand are our dedicated Business Advisory Services (BAS), who can provide information and expertise to help support your practice or business. BAS looks after www.healthypractice.co.nz/ – our website with everything health practices need to know about managing their business. The BAS team can also point you in the direction of specialist providers for any products or services we can’t provide directly.
We make it easy
You can call into any of our branches or our advisors can come to you. MAS advisors are trained to give the best advice possible. And because they’re salaried rather than commissioned, you know they have your best interests in mind. Alternatively, much of your business can be done very quickly over the phone – applying for simple loans, moving money around your investment accounts or even making an insurance claim. When you phone MAS, we know where you’re coming from and you don’t have to start at the beginning every time. Find out about the different ways you can contact us.
